We work solely for the customer to acquire not the best but the cheapest price and retain it in years going forward, nationwide.

Since the opening out of the energy market in 1999, prices of energy consumption has proven competitive with the granting of eleven licenses. Electric Midwest is an electricity management company, the first of its kind in Ireland. We are not electricity brokers or employed by any electricity company. We work solely on the requirement of our clients. This means that we search the market for the best electricity price and negotiate the cheapest price for our clients.

If you are searching for significant savings concerning your energy usage, reach out to us today. We serve both large and small energy consumers including:

Electric Midwest for Business Electricity

In our experience dealing with commercial clients we have experienced that all have been paying in excess for their energy consumption. This includes both electricity and gas usage.

On average Electric Midwest has found that commercial entities are paying between .30-40 cents per unit. With Electric Midwest’s management, commercial energy costings can be reduced to as low as .24 cents per unit. Currently we represent hospitality locations, agribusinesses, legal firms, and small to medium sized retail outlets nationwide.

If you are in contract and you think you are being overcharged, Electric Midwest will negotiate an early reduced exit fee. This results in the savings offsetting the early exit fee in the first month. Irrespective of the exit fee, considerable savings are achieved overall across a 12 month period.

Electric Midwest for Domestic Electricity

Did you know that most domestic energy use amounts to €1500-2000 annually? This equates to 8-10,000 units consumed annually. To date Electric Midwest has found that at least over 90% of people are paying 25% over and above what they could pay. We review and negotiate on behalf of consumers like you, to achieve the cheapest tariff possible while also navigating any arrears, and payment of an exit fee that may be applied which is a maximum of €50 for each change to a new supplier. Each consumer is entitled to move supplier as many times as they feel it is profitable, for an early exit fee of €50.

On average when a consumer moves they initially save up to one third of their consumption which means for example in an annual energy expenditure of €1500, they would make savings of €500.
For example, in the circumstance where the price of electricity reduces by .2 cents per unit further, Electric Midwest would consider moving you to this new supplier who has this reduced rate. Therefore this would increase savings by another €150 to a total savings of €650 over a 12 month period.

Always Electric Midwest continues to make sure you are paying the lowest tariffs going forward year on year and keeping you in contract at all times where you are not subjected to a minimum of 30% increase without notification. All energy suppliers apply increases immediately when a consumer is out of contract without notification. All energy companies refer to consumers who are out of contract as sleepers i.e. meaning, that many consumers pay for their energy without analysis or hesitation.

Since our establishment we have helped numerous clients save thousands of euros in their energy usage to date. We advocate for clients to achieve the lowest exit fees possible and make switching a profitable experience for you, the consumer.
